About this data
Rxcurve reports Medicare Part B drug payment limits, quarter by quarter, straight from the CMS files.
Where it comes from
Every number on Rxcurve is computed by a script from the quarterly Medicare Part B drug payment limit files that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) publishes on its ASP pricing files page. The site covers 1Q21 to 4Q26. When CMS re-posts a corrected file for a past quarter, the newer file is used and the earlier one is kept and shown as an earlier version.
What a payment limit is
For most Part B drugs, the payment limit is based on the Average Sales Price (ASP) that manufacturers report to CMS. Each quarter's limit reflects sales data from about two quarters earlier. For example, the 4Q26 limits reflect sales from around 2Q26 (April–June 2026). So a change in a payment limit shows up months after the change in prices that caused it.
What it does not mean
- Inclusion in the file does not mean Medicare covers a drug. Coverage depends on Medicare rules and coverage decisions, not on this list.
- The payment limit is not what a patient pays or what a provider is guaranteed to receive.
- Where CMS gives no payment limit for a code, this site shows N/A.
Independence
Rxcurve is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to CMS or any other government agency. Check the CMS files before relying on any figure.
